 Held the third weekend of June, the Arts and Acts Festival showcases the contemporary art, handicraft work, and unique creations by fine artists and crafters from Michigan and around the country through the 35th Annual Art in the Sun Juried Art Fair. Visitors enjoy art and family-friendly activities such as the Northville Art House Chalk Festival, and music and creative experiences held throughout the three-day event.

34th Annual Art in the Sun Juried Art Fair

The Northville Art House invites talented artists and crafters from around the country working in all media to apply to the Art in the Sun. 2023, Art in the Sun will showcase contemporary art by fine artists, handcraft work, and unique creations by artists from Michigan and around the country competing for monetary awards based on original artwork and booth presentation.

We are delighted to welcome you back to Northville!
his year the Art in the Sun Juried Art Fair welcome artists in all media and categories. All work must be original--NO imports, kits, items made from kits or items using pre-manufactured components are allowed. All reproductions must be signed and numbered in editions of no more than 350. All reproductions must be labeled as such. Artists are REQUIRED to be at the show during all hours it is open to the public. Artist demonstrations are encouraged! More information under Rules/Regulations.

Monetary prizes will be awarded for Best of Show ($550), First Place ($400) and Second Place ($250). Honorable mentions will also be awarded.  Awards will be based on original art work and booth presentation. Monetary prizes will total up to $1200.
