Wu Man https://wumanpipa.org/
Wu Man is a Chinese pipa player and composer. She is known for playing in a broad range of musical styles and introducing the pipa and its Chinese heritage into Western genres.
She has performed and recorded extensively with Kronos Quartet and Silk Road Ensemble, and has premiered works by Philip Glass, Lou Harrison, Terry Riley, Bright Sheng, Tan Dun, Zhao Jiping, and Zhou Long, among many others.
Five of her albums have been nominated for Grammy Awards.
She was named Instrumentalist of the Year (2013) by Musical America, becoming the first performer of a non-Western instrument to receive this award.
She also received The United States Artist' Award in 2008
Recently, Wu Man receiving the 2023 NEA National Heritage Fellowship Award announced on Feb. 28, the US highest honor in folk and traditional arts, recognizing her artistic excellence, lifetime achievement, and contributions to the nation's traditional arts heritage.

Hsin-Yun Huang is currently on the Viola Faculty at the Juilliard School and the Curtis Institute of Music.
Ms. Huang first came to international attention as the gold medalist and the youngest competitor in the 1988 Lionel Tertis International Viola Competition.
In 1993 she was the top prize winner in the ARD International Competition in Munich, and was awarded the highly prestigious Bunkamura Orchard Hall Award.
Ms. Huang was a member of the Borromeo String Quartet from 1994 to 2000.
