Join us for a “Planning For Our Future” workshop to learn more about the City of Chino Hills’ comprehensive General Plan Update and provide input on the new Environmental Justice Element on Thursday, November 10 at 6:00 pm at the McCoy Equestrian & Recreation Center, located at 14280 Peyton Drive. Several community booths featuring information on key topics will also be available.

The workshop will provide residents an introduction to the General Plan and the City’s process to update it, as well as an overview of the eight elements including the new Environmental Justice component. The new Environmental Justice component takes into consideration disadvantaged neighborhoods and ensures that the City plans for and develops a process to ensure equity regarding the land uses and environmental concerns of today and into the future. 

Residents will have the opportunity to ask questions regarding the General Plan and provide feedback. Various City departments will also attend to provide information on topics such as City programs and services, household hazardous waste, organic waste, water conservation, public safety, and the City’s GIS mapping software. A children’s activity area will also be available.
