Alameda - East Bay Artisans and Temple Israel have teamed up once again to create a holiday shopping experience, called a Holiday Fest, on Sunday, November 15, 2015, from 10 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Event will take place in two neighboring buildings, Temple Israel's Social Hall and the Community Center of Harbor Bay Isle, as well as activities on the grassy area in between. These buildings are located at 3183 and 3195 Mecartney Road, just inside the Harbor Bay Landing, in Alameda. The event is free to attend.
Confirmed vendors include Body by M, HiHat, Honour Brand, Ruby Ribbon, Scentsy, Twin Bee Apiary, and Alameda's Poet Laureate Julia Park Tracey. Collectibles include repurposed items and even kimonos and haori. Fifty vendors in all featuring local artists, authors, crafters and home-based business owners. Items include accessories, artwork, ceramics, children clothing, floral designs, handmade greeting cards, honey, jam, knitwear, and more.
Two cafes will be in operation. Gift cards, face-painting, bake sale, yoga (weather permitting), a blacksmith to sharpen your tools, and a Coin Mob to take your lose change and donate to a local public school.
