Over the last 11 years, the Exeter Area Chamber of Commerce has partnered with the Exeter Parks and Rec. Department to present the largest beer and chili festival in New Hampshire, “Powder Keg.”

Chili is back while supplies last- who will go home with the coveted People's Choice Award?

“Powder Keg” takes place in Swasey Park located in downtown Exeter on the first Saturday in October. Breweries and beer enthusiasts from the region gather for a day of sampling beers of all styles and tastes.

This event is a joint event by Exeter Parks and Recreation and the Exeter Area Chamber of Commerce, and generously underwritten by Northeast Credit Union, with additional support from Newburyport Bank.

The Festival is Saturday, October 7 from 12:00-4:00PM.  
VIP Session: 12:00PM-4:00PM
General Admission Session:  1:00-4:00PM
