From: City of Goleta

The City of Goleta is in the process of refreshing its website (www.CityofGoleta.org) and is asking for public input. Before we go live, the City wants to hear what’s important to you when using the website and what you would like to see improved. We hope you will take a moment to take a Website Refresh Survey here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/WHD9FD2 by Sunday, July 31. The survey is also available in Spanish at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/8PZ2J6H.

The goal of the refresh project is to offer our website users a better experience whether it be via their desktop, cell phone or tablet. The updated site will be easier to navigate, more accessible and mobile-friendly. City staff have been working behind the scenes the past year with our website vendor Granicus to refresh the site. Typically, city websites need to be updated every five years due to changing technology. The last time the City’s website was updated was seven years ago in May of 2015.

To see the progress we have made so far on the website currently under construction, watch staff’s “show and tell” presentation to the Public Engagement Commission on June 15, 2022. Click here to watch a recording of the meeting. You can also read the staff report here for more details and background on the website refresh project.

Thank you for taking time out to fill out the brief survey with your input. The Goleta City Council will review the results and input from the Public Engagement Commission, and is expected to provide its input as well on the website refresh at a meeting in September.

For questions, please contact City of Goleta’s Community Relations Manager Kelly Hoover at [email protected].
