Romanza Festivale of Music & the Arts is once again celebrating the vibrant and unique confluence of art, culture, and history in St. Augustine, Florida, the Nation’s Oldest City. Beginning in 2012, Romanza Festivale events continue to immerse audiences in the outstanding cultural experience of this historic city which is a top voted location among the Most Romantic Small Towns in America by New York Travel Guides.

This year’s lineup includes an abundant mix of national, regional, and local artists. Dozens of ticketed concerts, free showcases, and special events will include The Legendary Count Basie Orchestra; Linda Cole of the Cole Family dynasty; refined euro-jazz violinist Luca Ciarla from Italy; internationally acclaimed Con Brio String Quartet, and Duo Arpeggione with virtuosi Drs. Catherine Lan and Claudio Jaffe. For 17 consecutive days from Friday, May 3 through Sunday, May 19, Romanza Festivale of Music & the Arts features performances, shows, and exhibitions in collaboration with numerous independent organizations, businesses, and talent.

This year, Romanza Festivale will present more than 40 concerts, plays, art exhibits, dance exhibitions, readings, and recitals with A Classic Theatre (ACT); Art Galleries of St. Augustine; Arts and Crafts Beer Tasting; author Elizabeth Randall; author Madeline Martin; Belle Fleur Ensemble; Bold City Brass; Community Drumming with Amber Hall; EMMA Concert Association; First Coast Opera; Flagler College’s Key of Seas; Florida Chamber Music Project (FCMP); Florida School for the Arts; Florida Storytelling Troupe; guitarist Dr. Jonathan Dotson; harpist Isabelle Scott with Inspirare Women’s Choir; Lisa Lockhart and Friends; North Florida Saxophone Quartet; North Florida Women’s Chorale; perennial favorite Mama Blue; pianist Michael Clark; soprano Raquel Rubi with Harmonie Coalesce; St. Augustine Art Association; St. Augustine Community Chorus; St. Augustine Concert Band; St. Augustine Music Festival; St. Augustine Orchestra; St. Johns Classical Guitar Ensemble; Tale Tellers of St. Augustine; tenor John Daugherty; The Three Tellers; The 9B Woodwind Quartet; Third Space Improv; Voices of Jacksonville, and Yael ZaZa Flamenca.

Additionally, “Kaleidoscope of Dance”, Romanza’s signature on-stage spectacular showcase will feature performances by Ancient City Sirens; Arts on the Edge Dance Company; Blue Lotus World Dance Company; Flamenco Perspective; Florida School of the Arts; Grace Conservatory; JAX City Ballet; Matanzas Tap; Noise Complaint; North Florida Dance Association - Dance USA; Ponte Vedra Ballet; Rhythm Theory; St. Augustine Dance Performance Company; The Dance Company; St. Augustine High School Dance Collective, and Zoika’s Dance. In its 13th year, Romanza Festivale is St. Augustine’s original multi-arts event, presented by Romanza-St. Augustine, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The non-profit also produces the   St. Augustine Celtic Music & Heritage Festival, the St. Patrick Parade, and other events.

Romanza events are funded in part by the Florida Department of State Division of Cultural Affairs, Florida Council on Arts and Culture, the St. Johns County Tourist Development Council, and St. Johns Cultural Council.
