Phoenix – Former Congressman and Republican gubernatorial candidate Matt Salmon on June 8th, announced the launch of his first television ad.

The new ad – part of a six-figure buy that will air in the Phoenix, Arizona, market – touts Salmon's plan to secure the border and protect Arizona's sovereignty.

Salmon has outlined the most comprehensive policy plan in the gubernatorial field to secure Arizona's border – including a bold new initiative called "Operation Copper Shield" that will deploy 1,200 armed National Guard troops and invest millions of dollars in county sheriffs and prosecutors who keep our neighborhoods safe.

The television ad comes on the heels of Salmon opening his campaign headquarters in Mesa, Arizona, and filing more petition signatures than any other candidate in the race.
