Dr. Melanie Cleveland, Principal of Bellalago Academy

Dr. Melanie Cleveland has held the following positions: Teacher, Reading Coach, and Language Arts Department Head in Osceola, Orange, and Hillsborough Counties (1999-2008); Coordinator for Secondary Curriculum and Instruction for the Osceola School District (2008-2011);  Supervisor for Secondary Reading for the Hillsborough County School District (2011-2012); Senior Administrator for Curriculum and Instruction for Orange County Public Schools (2012-2015); Assistant Principal for Instruction in Osceola and Brevard Counties (2015-2020); and Principal at Lakeview Elementary (2020-present). She received her bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts from Pfeiffer University, a master's degree in English Education from the University of South Florida, and a doctorate degree in Administrative Leadership in Teaching and Learning from Walden University.
