Share Your Holiday Compassion with Families Impacted by Disaster

Clubs and Organizations

November 17, 2023

The holidays are traditionally a time for families to exchange warmth and gratitude. For families impacted by disaster, though, the holidays may look a little different. No matter the time of year, the American Red Cross is ready whenever and wherever a disaster strikes — and now is an especially meaningful time to bring hope to someone less fortunate.

When a family arrives at a Red Cross shelter after a disaster any time of the year, they’re met with highly trained volunteers, care and compassion and three meals a day. For those in need, such simple comforts can bring much-needed hope and courage.

That’s why, during the season of giving, we’re launching our Meals Campaign — and we’re setting a goal to raise $50,000 to provide a full day of shelter meals for the hundreds of people who will need our support after a disaster now and throughout the year. Please, will you give a gift now to help us provide warm meals to communities recovering from disasters? To a family in need, your support could mean the world.

GOAL: $50,000
DEADLINE: Friday, November 17 at MIDNIGHT
