THE SPIRIT OF THE SUWANNEE MUSIC PARK, LIVE OAK, FLA – The Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park and Campground (SOSMP) stage will be hot this Friday night when famed country artist Steve Branch (formerly of Branch and Dean) takes the stage to entertain you! Steve, now back in North Florida, spent a long time in Nashville with Dean Scallan as the famous country duo of Branch and Dean, performing, song writing and recording. Together they wrote and recorded such great songs as Your Ol’ Lady's Gone and The Forgetter. While they were known for their exceptional songwriting skills and high-energy live shows, Branch and Dean also worked tirelessly as the National Ambassadors for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CF). Branch’s distinctive vocals anchored the duo’s breakthrough hit, The Dash, a tribute to Steve’s 23-year-old son, Theron, who died after years battling CF. “Life goes by so fast and our stories are defined by how we spend that dash,” Branch sings in the hauntingly beautiful ballad. Expect to be singing along with Steve Branch March 10 in the Music Hall as he bring pure country along with old country!

Steve will also share the stage with one of our guests’ favorite singers, Keith Thrift, paying tribute to Conway Twitty with a few songs

Taking the stage Saturday, March 11, will be Ashton Taylor of Jacksonville. Ashton has been performing since she was a little girl, enjoys singing country, gospel and bluegrass and 90s country. Ashton plays guitarist, piano, ukelele and mandolin and comes from a long line of family singers! She’s entered many competitions, such as the News 4 Jax "Oh Say Can You Sing" second place winner 2017 and top 10 finalist 2018, was a finalist during the Suwannee River Jam auditions 2015 and 2016 and many others. Ashton loves to bring the music of Dolly Parton, Cody Johnson, Miranda Lambert and many other great country artists for her fans here at the SOSMP! Be sure to check her out Saturday, March 11, in the Music Hall
