Open office hours will continue through July (none in August). These sessions are opportunities for you to meet with other Central District librarians, share information, ask questions, and network. If you liked the recent Director Roundtables, you'll love our office hours! All sessions are 1:30-2:30.

To Do Before June 30...

June 30 marks the end of the fiscal year. as well as the due date for some of your duties. Additionally, the Accreditation cycle is on a fiscal year basis, so make sure your board is aware of their duties in this regard. (Note that some of these duties will depend on your tier level in the Accreditation program.)

Don't let the date slip up on you without realizing you need to check these items off your list by then:

- Direct State Aid money must be spent.  

- ARPA grant recipients must file the final report.

- Directors should be evaluated by the library board

- Other employees should be evaluated by the director.

- Trustees should have completed board education for this fiscal year.

- Your board should review your library's strategic plan.

- Ensure that your board met at least 10 times during FY22.
