2022 Learning Circuit Registration Opening Postponed

Apologies, but we got a bit ahead of ourselves in announcing the opening of registration for the upcoming Learning Circuit.

As we iron out a few technicalities, we will launch registration after the Labor Day Holiday. We will update this list, and LibraryTalk, when registration officially opens.

For now, save the date, for Thursday, October 20. Registration will be $15 and includes a continental breakfast and box lunch.

About the 2022 Learning Circuit: Disaster Preparedness

Local, State, and National experts come together in this hybrid event designed to give those working in Iowa libraries additional tools, support, and planning as they think ahead to future, potential disasters.

All communities were disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic, not to mention other disasters or trying events that have impacted many of us. This day-long event is designed to introduce you (library directors, staff, and trustees) to basic concepts of emergency management, get you connected to local and state partners who can help when disaster strikes, and assist your team (however large or small it is) in thinking through how your library should respond if the worst happens.
