CDC Votes To Deprive Parental Choice With Help of  Janet Mills Staff Member.

On Oct 20th, the U.S. CDC advisers approved adding COVID-19 shots to vaccine schedules used by states to create mandates on our children. I have always believed that Maine parents need to make the best medical decisions for their own children, without interference from the government. It is unconscionable to me that the government can take away your rights as a parent regarding the health of your children.

Even more outrageous than that decision, is the fact that Janet Mills' appointed CDC Director, Nirav Shah, enthusiastically endorsed and voted in favor of this massive government overreach. We know that Janet Mills has a longstanding record of denying parents the right to make their own medical decisions for their children.

As Governor, I have always been committed to preserving and empowering the rights of Maine parents.
