Confused about your new iPhone or iPad? Need help formatting a Word document? Drop in to the library between 1:30 & 3:30 PM to get a tech question answered. First come, first served. Sessions will be limited to 15 minutes per person.

First Friday Book Discussion:
The Saints of Swallow Hill by Donna Everhart

Enjoy discussing a great book with your neighbors! Download The Saints of Swallow Hill by Donna Everhart on Hoopla (free with your Blackstone Library card), then meet up with for a lively book discussion.

Cello Sampler Concert

Saturday, August 5 from 2 - 3pm
Randy Calistri-Yeh will be performing a solo cello recital at the James Blackstone Memorial Library on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at 2:00pm.

This isn't going to be your usual classical recital. Bach and Brahms might be joined by Scott Joplin, Duke Ellington, and The Beatles, so there’s something for everyone. Randy will use a microphone looper to play duets with himself. Plus he’ll give you the inside scoop on all the music with some fascinating stories and little-known facts.

Awakening to Change:
A Social Justice Discussion Group
Thursday, August 10 from 7 - 8pm
Awakening to Change is designed to help unify our community by developing a shared understanding of the history, policy, and experiences shaping contemporary discussions of race. We tackle a new topic each month, sometimes reading books, discussing films, or learning from articles. All are welcome to join!
