STROLL THROUGH YOUR HOLIDAY SHOPPING

The Umbrella Arts Center kicks off the holiday season this week with the return of Concord's traditional Winter Market, an annual three-day show and sale of artist, artisan, and hand-crafted work on all three floors of our beautifully renovated space at 40 Stow Street.

This year's market will feature dozens of Umbrella Studio Artists, regional Guest Artists, an annual "Off-the-Wall" show with small works under $350, a Ceramics Program holiday sale, and refreshments by Sudbury Coffee Works in the café.

We've also added a new Umbrella Gift Shop where you can buy durable Umbrella-branded totes and gift certificates to treat a loved one to the arts all year around.

Plus, be sure to start on the Third Floor, where you can meet several Studio and guest artists, and enter The Umbrella Prize Drawing.

OTHER SPECIAL ACTIVITIES

On Friday Dec. 1, Noon - 4PM, stop by our friends at J.McLaughlin in Concord before or after Winter Market, where 15% of your purchases will go to support the work of our non-profit arts center!

On Saturday, Dec. 2 from 2-4PM, The Umbrella Arts Education Program invites families to join us for a free Drop-In Crafts Day.

Enjoy live music by Seth Connelly (Dec. 2, 12-4PM) and Berit Strong (Dec. 3, 12-3PM).

Visit the “Fresh Ink: Contemporary Explorations in Printmaking” Gallery Exhibition, on view through Jan. 4.

The Umbrella Stage Company in partnership with Firebird Pops Orchestra is thrilled to announce the return of our holiday pops concert!

Together with the Firebird Vox choir, the orchestra will sweep you away with magical scores from favorite seasonal blockbusters Home Alone and The Eighth Candle, classic favorites including Sleigh Ride, and a special version 'Twas the Night Before Christmas, and more!

Fun for the whole family--enjoy seasonal favorites at concessions, fun activities for the kids during intermission, and the chance to sing along together in celebration.
