If You Love Laughs, You'll Love The Barber of Seville

Figaro plays matchmaker for his boss in this cheeky rom-com favorite

Count Almaviva is head over heels for Rosina, but before he can pop the question, he has to get past her greedy guardian. Enter Figaro: barber, valet, and the man with the plan. Love at first sight, wacky disguises, witty schemes, and Rossini’s iconic tunes make for a laugh-out-loud adventure in the beloved comedy The Barber of Seville.

Louis Lohraseb conducts a stellar cast, including three-time Grammy Award winner Isabel Leonard as Rosina, Uruguayan tenor Edgardo Rocha as the Count, and Canadian baritone Joshua Hopkins as the street-smart matchmaker (and fan favorite) Figaro.

The Barber of Seville is onstage for just six performances starting October 21, with seats as low as $24. But you might want to hurry—we had sold-out crowds for The Marriage of Figaro last season, and this delightful prequel is proving just as popular.
