Welcome to Floatzilla, the largest paddle event on the Mississippi! Held annually in the beautiful Quad Cities region, Floatzilla brings together paddling enthusiasts from all over the country for a day of fun and adventure on the Mississippi River.

With over a thousand participants and the river closed down to commercial watercraft, Floatzilla offers a unique opportunity to explore the area's natural beauty. Whether you're an experienced paddler or just starting, there's something for everyone at Floatzilla. And after a day on the water, the fun doesn't stop! Join us for our post-paddle event, featuring live music and food vendors, where you can relax and connect with other paddling enthusiasts.

Camping

Floatzilla and the city of davenport are offering camping on credit island or at lindsay park near the lindsay park yacht club launch site.

Tent camping only. No open fires allowed. Cost is $12 per tent

Kayak Fishing Tournament

A Free entry kayak fishing tournament will take place at Credit Island on Friday, aug. 18 6-8 p.m. Check-in for the tournament takes place from 5 p.m. - 6 p.m. All ages are welcome!

Live Music

Live music will make its return this year! Taking place at Lake Potter Saturday Aug. 19, from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. look forward to great food, great music, and great people at our post paddle celebration!

Launching

Our Launch sites are designed to accommodate paddlers of all skill levels. From a leisurely half-mile paddle launching from credit island - to the eleven-mile launch from empire park for those looking for adventure!
