The Umbrella Community Arts Center - Giving Thanks and Family Fun!

Arts and Entertainment

November 23, 2022

From: The Umbrella Community Arts Center

Dear friends and family of The Umbrella:

Like many of you, I am thankful for a great many things this year: family, friends, health, work, the planet, and of course The Umbrella!

I am sure that you will appreciate that this place and the people in it are my second family. When I say I am thankful for The Umbrella, I think about the people. I am grateful for our dedicated and passionate Board and Advisory Council, for our talented studio and teaching artists, and for all those who give their time as volunteers and committee members.

This year, I would like to especially recognize and thank our wonderful staff in my full letter, which I'm pleased to share here.

Wishing you all a very Happy Thanksgiving, and a joyful time together with your families.

Jerry Wedge
Executive Director

For 40 years you have supported us and challenged us to grow. And you have grown with us - our Umbrella community multiplying by the decade.

YOU have enabled us to create countless moments of possibility in which someone can be moved, inspired, or changed in some way by the arts.

In this anniversary season, we need your help more than ever before. Please make a gift today so that we may continue to reach and provide critical arts experiences for our region this year, and for years to come.
