Stony Brook Gristmill Annual Cornbread Festival

Visitors are invited to stop by the Stony Brook Gristmill this weekend to sample a slice of fresh cornbread. The cornbread, baked by volunteers using the mill’s organic stoneground cornmeal, is delicious topped with a dab of raspberry butter!  This will be the last day of the Stony Brook Gristmill’s 2022 summer Saturday schedule – visitors are encouraged to stop in and stock up on cornmeal for winter baking.  The water wheel will be turning, and the upstairs museum will be open.  Family friendly, fun, and free admission.

Fixit Clinic

The Brewster Recycling Commission and the Brewster Ladies Library are collaborating on a "Fixit Clinic" on Saturday, August 20th from 1:30 til 4:30 pm. at the library.  Repair is one more of the many Rs that the Recycling Commission promotes to the town residents.  Residents are encouraged to repair items, rather than just throwing them away.  There will be local repair coaches on hand to answer questions and guide attendees with their project.
