Select Board Adopts FY23-24 Strategic Plan

Following their annual retreat this summer, the Select Board recently adopted a Strategic Plan for Fiscal Years 2023 and 2024. This Plan identifies 39 consensus goals that will inform the Town’s ongoing and upcoming policy and operational initiatives. A general timeline, responsible parties, and key stakeholders are associated with each goal. Similar to their approach over the past several years, the Select Board used the policy framework outlined in the 2018 Vision Plan to inform their strategic planning efforts and organize their goals.  In addition, the Select Board took the priorities and action items identified in the draft Local Comprehensive Plan into account and added two new building blocks to this year’s Plan - Climate Mitigation and Adaption and Solid Waste Management.  This Plan also includes several goals specific to the ongoing management and potential future uses of the two former Sea Camps properties.
