A reminder that Oyster Sunday will not take place this weekend.  Our last Oyster Sunday is scheduled for the weekend before Christmas.

There is a 5-quart limit per week. Please bring a valid 2022 Brewster taxpayer/resident recreational shellfish permit (purchase permits online here: https://brewsterstickers.townhall247.com).

Open Position: Public Health Nurse

Brewster seeks qualified candidates for a part-time Public Health Nurse. Position responsible for promoting health and the prevention of disease by performing professional nursing work in administering various public health programs and providing administrative and informational support services to the Board of Health, local officials, residents, and members of the medical community. Duties include but are not limited to: coordinates services for residents with private, public, and community health service agencies and serves as liaison to community groups. May coordinate specialized health care/training programs or projects, such as health clinics.

Prepares and distributes educational materials and manages postings for social media.

Valid license to practice as a registered nurse in Massachusetts with five years’ work experience;Bachelor’s degree in Nursing with public health experience preferred; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
