The Launch of the Surf Boat Mervin F. Roberts
On September 30th, I joined 12 other Old Lyme residents in Kittery Point, Maine to celebrate the launch of the Wood Island Live Saving Station surf boat – the Mervin F. Roberts. The boat has been completely restored and outfitted with a new electric motor. A crowd of about 100 well-wishers cheered as the boat was launched and 8 rowers rowed the boat to Wood Island.

Candy Drive
The Town Hall is a drop off site for the LYSB Halloween candy drive for trick-or-treating in the village. Please drop off wrapped candy by Monday, October 24th and LYSB will distribute it to village neighbors in time for Halloween!

Free Flu Shots
Saturday, October 22, 2022, for Lyme & Old Lyme residents 18 and over.
10 am – 1 pm at the LOL Middle School in a drive-through format. Free of charge!

November 8 is Election Day
Voting Information for the November 8, 2022, State and Federal Election & Regional School District No 18 Referendum can be found at this link. For more information on the school referendum there will be the final public meeting of three on Wednesday, October 26th, at 7:00 p.m. in the Mile Creek School.
