From: Town of Shrewsbury

In partnership with the Institute for Human-Centered Design (IHCD), the Town recently completed an ADA Self-Evaluation and Transition Plan. This plan provides details from IHCD's assessment of all municipal buildings and outdoor spaces where the Town offers programs, services, and activities to members of the public. Specifically, 11 municipal buildings, 9 school buildings, and 18 outdoor spaces were assessed. This plan will assist the Town in making progress toward meeting requirements under Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

IHCD will do a presentation on their findings in the near future. Ahead of this presentation, if members of the public have any comments, questions, or feedback regarding the ADA Self-Evaluation and Transition Plan, they may be sent to Justin Dobson at [email protected], or via mail to the Commission on Disabilities, 100 Maple Avenue, Shrewsbury, MA 01545 by Friday, November 25, 2022.
