The Town of Winchester has entered into a contract with Dayton Construction out of Watertown, Connecticut to complete the next phase of the Sue Grossman Still River Greenway.  Construction began on Monday, August 1st. 

Clearing vegetation and placing erosion controls along the length of the Trail is the first activity.  Earth moving activities are anticipated to begin very soon.  Several critical items such as pedestrian bridges have been ordered but are not expected to arrive for several months.  Work is expected to be completed in Late November barring unforeseen events.
