Senior Wednesday program features Ulrich staff members discussing their 'Deep Dive' selections

10:00 A.M. Reception, 10:30 A.M. Program. Free and open to all. Senior Wednesday is back at the Ulrich this week with a special program featuring Museum staff members sharing their insights on some of the pieces they chose for the summer exhibition, Deep Dive: Selections from the Permanent Collection. Come join us and tour this amazing show, which features several beloved pieces--alongside several hidden gems--from our permanent collection!

Ulrich teams up with community partners to offer evening of sculpture exploration and outdoor movie
The Ulrich is excited to partner with several community organizations, including the WSU Office of Engagement, the Shocker Neighborhood Coalition, mamafilm, Bike Wichita, Storytime Village, and more, to provide the University and neighboring communities with a fun evening of sculpture touring and movie watching. It all takes place on Tuesday, June 21, starting at 6 P.M. with the Ulrich's Sculpture Glow, a community and family event celebrating the summer solstice with interactive stations connecting our sculptures and our history. After touring the sculptures, venture over to the Duerksen Fine Arts Center Amphitheater and check out the vendors and food trucks before watching Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Encanto (rated PG). Be sure to bring your blanket for the outdoor movie. Both events are free and open to all.

Share your Ulrich Memories with us!

Our 50th anniversary is right around the corner (in 2024) and we're planning lots of great exhibitions and events to celebrate the Museum's excellence. One thing we are working on is collecting memories from folks who have been connected to the Ulrich over the years. Whether you are a present or past employee, a donor, volunteer, student, or general visitor, we'd love to hear your favorite memories of the Ulrich. We've created this webpage, which has a form on it, to help you share your stories. The memories we collect will be shared throughout our 50th anniversary celebrations and might even end up in a book we're putting together. We'd love to hear your stories!
