Can you believe we have reached the last week of September?? Hopefully, October will bring cooler Fall weather to enjoy Oktoberfest, Halloween and all the other great things that we enjoy!

Cesar Chavez was an American labor leader and civil rights activist. Along with Dolores Huerta, he co-founded the National Farm Workers Association, which later merged with the Agricultural Workers Organizing Committee to become the United Farm Workers labor union.

There is so much information, interesting facts, etc about Cesar Chavez, it would literally take up this whole newsletter and then some!
