Annual Memorial Day Picnic
The town of Tisbury will hold a Memorial Day Picnic from noon to 4 pm on the grounds of the restored Tashmoo Spring Building on West Spring Street off State Road. Entertainment will include live music, boating, games, and more. Grills and free ice cream will be provided by the Town of Tisbury. Bring your own picnic food and supplies, and please leave your dogs at home.

Online: Vineyard Haven Library Spice Club
A new take on a cookbook group, Spice Club meets virtually one Tuesday each month. Registration comes with a sample pack of the spice of the month and a little history about it. Prepare a recipe, and then come and discuss your opinions, experiences, and love (or hate!) of the spice on Zoom. Spice of the month is Lavender. Register

Online: (Another) Summer of Drawing with Elizabeth Whelan
Join artist Elizabeth R. Whelan for a series of 19 free intermediate-level drawing classes. She will be focusing on technique, good 'starts' for drawings, and how to move beyond simple representation to bring personal concepts into your work. To demonstrate, throughout the summer Elizabeth will follow a single theme and show you 19 different conceptual interpretations. Anyone can join, from anywhere. The classes are free and aimed at adults who are brushing up on their drawing skills (or just starting out), however, all are welcome. Through September 28th. Register for the series

Wednesday Walk the Chop
Walk and Talk Book Club has become ''Walk the Chop'. We will meet every Wednesday at the Library and walk/run or any combination the West Chop loop. Course is not hilly and is just over 3 miles. Rain or shine, no sign up necessary. Please contact [email protected] or [email protected] with any questions. Sponsored by Vineyard Haven Library and BeWell-MV.

Adult Crafts in the Garden - Resin Casting
Join Jennifer in the courtyard behind the library to cast some resin. Make jewelry, coasters, bookmarks and more!. Materials are provided and registration is not required, but attendance will be limited to first arrivals, while supplies last. (Weather permitting -- Rain Date June 12th)
