Face masks are encouraged when visiting the library. Masks may be required for ages 5 and up when attending indoor programs, for reference and tech help appointments, and at any time when COVID-19 community level is high.

If you or a family member are experiencing symptoms of illness including fever, cough, or shortness or breath, please postpone your visit.

Philip Weinstein, the Alexander Griswold Cummins Professor of English Emeritus at Swarthmore College, will present a six-part seminar discussing short story collections from six American writers, from 6pm - 7:30pm on six Wednesday evenings, beginning November 16th. These programs will be held online via Zoom. Prior to the first class, registered participants will receive a welcome email with Zoom access information and a reading guide.

If there is sufficient interest, the library may also host a small group to view the Zoom event together at the library. Contact the Library Director if you are interested in this option.
