Join us for our May First Friday from 6-9pm for four new exhibitions!

PAINTING IS FROZEN MUSIC

A brief survey of artists working In the infernal / beautiful place sometimes called Philadelphia Who are in some way working with, around and through the infernal / beautiful practice sometimes called Painting. Curated by Jim Strong and featuring Bambi Angel, Henry Bermudez, Pomona Za, Claes Gabriel, Daisy Diamond, Anne Minich, Anthony Campuzano, Drew Zimmerman, and Jim Strong

CONSTELLATIONS

Tiger Strikes Asteroid Philadelphia members have worked collaboratively with artists inside and outside of their membership network on pieces for the exhibition. The show name Constellations refers to the expansive artists, communities and ideas that influence the work. Echoes 

Batikh Batikh is proud to present its second exhibition at Vox Populi’s Black Box Theater. Echoes / ????? is the first solo exhibition of work by Algerian-American artist, Kenza Bousseloub. Featuring photography and moving image material gathered over multiple trips to visit her extended family in Mila, Setif, and Algiers, Algeria, this show is also the World Premiere of Bousseloub’s documentary film, Nissa’a Djazaïriat, Voices of East Algeria.
