The works on view speak to our human desire to travel and our ability to reflect experiences through art making that at one time inspire us and at another moment intrigue us enough to ask more questions.

One Sheet
opening September 15

A blank page, a blank canvas, a blank slate–widely-used idioms for limitless possibilities. For the exhibition series One Sheet, over 60 Colorado artists were invited to start with the same blank building block and create a new artwork.

Transformative Power: Indigenous Feminisms
Opening September 15

An exhibition exploring the feminine by Indigenous artists, curated by Daina Warren.

Plane Of Action
Kevin Hoth + George P Perez
Opening September 29

Plane of Action explores how Kevin Hoth and George P. Perez glitch, deconstruct, and rebuild machine and hand-altered photographs. The two artists distort the legibility of imagery sourced from personal collections, archives, and social media through acts of weaving, cutting, collage, and even burning.

Desertartlab Artist Talk:
September 15

Using an urban desert field site in Pueblo, CO, DesertArtLAB teaches ancient food practices used by indigenous communities living in arid regions. Through the Desertification Cookbook, DesertArtLAB asks us to revise our view of the desert as a wasteland and instead see its diverse ability to cultivate food in unexpected ways.

Olive Moya

The bold graphic colorscapes, defined edges, line-work and movement are referential of Moya’s background in illustration and lettering.
