From: Winter Festival of Poetry

Join us as we kick off the 2024 Winter Festival of Poetry. The Winter Festival of Poetry, a program of the Wisconsin Fellowship of Poets, is Wisconsin's longest continuously running poetry program of its size. Hosted by poet James P. Roberts, this 8-week series features six poets each week, reading for roughly 10 minutes each. The series runs from January 21 to March 10. The theme this year is UNDER THE BIG TOP, celebrating the history of the circus! Each week will feature a different aspect of the circus, from clowns to trapeze artists and more.
