Whether it’s fireworks, your favorite fair food, livestock shows, 4-H/FFA exhibits, free stage entertainment or the great grandstand events - the Wright County District Junior Fair has something for everyone. It’s the most wonderful time of the year - you don’t want to miss it!

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 15, 2022

11:59pm: Deadline for all 4-H and FFA livestock and static entries due online through Fair Entry by 11:59pm:  (IMPORTANT: The only late livestock entries that will be accepted will be by Monday, June 20 at 11:59pm:  and will automatically be charged a $25 payment per person in addition to the entry fee. Absolutely “no” livestock entries will be accepted after 11:59pm:  on June 20.)

TUESDAY, JULY 5, 2022

8:00am - 12:00pm: Judging of 4-H Creative Arts, Animals, Agriculture and Natural Resources, Personal Development, Horticulture, Family Consumer Sciences, Science, Engineering and Technology
8:30am - 12:00pm: Clover Kids Judging
4:30pm - 6:30pm: Enter all Open Arts and Crafts Exhibits (4-H Building)

WEDNESDAY, JULY 6, 2022

8:00am: Judging Open Arts and Crafts
7:30am - 8:30am: Horse Arena Open for warm-up
8:30am: Mandatory Horse Exhibitor Meeting
9:00am: Judging of 4-H and FFA Horse and Pony Show
11:30am - 12:30pm: Vet Check for All Goats, Sheep and Alpaca
1:00pm - 2:30pm: Poultry Check-in (Note: Must have Pollorum testing done prior to check-in
2:00pm: Queen Candidate Judging
6:00pm: Wright County Fair Parade, sponsored by the Eagle Grove Chamber of Commerce
6:00pm - Close: Carnival, Scott Amusements (wristbands 7:00-10:00pm - $12)
7:00pm: FREE Watermelon Feed (Greenwood Park) sponsored by First Bank and the Eagle Grove Fareway Store
7:00pm - 9:00pm: Commercial Building Open
7:00pm - 10:00pm: Kids Zone Open
7:30pm: Recognition of Parade Grand Marshal, Scholarship Recipients and 6th Annual Little Miss and Mister Contest followed by Crowning of Wright County Fair Queen (James R. Johnson Stage)

6:30am - 8:30am: Mandatory Health Check-in for Rabbits (In Rabbit Building) All rabbits must be in cages.
7:30am - 9:00am: Vet Check for All Beef including Bucket Calves
8:30am - 11:00am: Enter all Open Show Horticulture Exhibits
9:00am - 9:00pm: 4-H Exhibit Building and Open Arts and Crafts Building OPEN
9:00am: Judging of Poultry
10:45am - 11:30pm: Cattle Weigh-in
11:00am - 9:00pm: Kids Zone Open featuring Playing with Giants
12:00pm - 9:00pm: Commercial Building OPEN
12:30pm - 1:30pm: Scale Open for Swine weight check (optional)
