The library makes it easy for you to grab the books you want and participate in community activities all summer long.  All ages are welcome to join the fun!

Summer Painting Series

Tuesday, August 2, 4:30-6 pm | Wilson

Tap into your creative flow with our summer acrylic painting series. Local artists Victor Smith and Richard T. Spears will share their methods for making “wearable art” and painting on canvas. Supplies will be provided. This event is made possible with the support of the City of New Haven.

Meet the Artists: Jane Gilman Fleischner and Larry Morse 
Saturday , August 13, 3pm | Mitchell
This collaborative, two-person art show is called In Need of More Light: a Two-Person Show.  Jane Gilman Fleischner is an artist from Trumbull who maintains a studio at the N.E.S.T. Art Center in Bridgeport. Larry Morse is an artist, folk-singer, poet, and poetry orator from New York. Come meet the artists!
