The New Haven Free Public Library will close at all locations on Saturday, October 8 and Monday, October 10 for Italian Heritage Day / Indigenous Peoples' Day.

We tweet, we like, and we share— but what are the consequences of our growing dependence on social media? Celebrate Digital Inclusion Week with a screening of the 2020 docu-drama The Social Dilemma, followed by a community conversation about the topics addressed in the film. NH Docs! Film Festival Screenings

Thursday, October 13 – Sunday, October 23 | Ives

This 10-day film festival is a popular, annual presentation of outstanding films and film discussions, with Ives Main Library as the primary venue and a selection of filmmakers speaking at the event. Films will be screened throughout the day.

Our popular fitness class returns in response to popular demand! POUND transforms drumming into an incredibly effective way of working out. This class is designed for all fitness levels and those new to POUND. Wear comfortable exercise clothes and sneakers. In the event of inclement weather, this program will move inside the building.
