Visit the Lake Winnipesaukee Museum and learn about the history and heritage of the big lake.  Enjoy displays on water-skiing, summer camps for boys & girls, steamboats, Native American artifacts and more.  Special events, Winnipesaukee Wednesdays lecture series, Museum Store, Kids Corner. Open all year.  Free admission; donations accepted.  New in 2008:  Classic Car Cruise Nights Mondays 6-8pm with the season kick-off on Monday, June 9th.  Visit their website for a complete listing of events and for an historical tour around the lake.  Owned and operated by the Lake Winnipesaukee Historical Society, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
