Greater Portsmouth Chamber Of Commerce

The Greater Portsmouth Chamber of Commerce is organized for the purpose of advancing the economic, industrial, professional, cultural and civic welfare of the Greater Portsmouth area by:

- Actively supporting the preservation of the free enterprise system and thereby creating a better understanding and appreciation of the importance of the business person and consumer, and a concern for their problems;

- Encouraging the growth of existing industries and businesses and giving appropriate assistance to any new firms or individuals seeking to locate their businesses to the Greater Portsmouth area;

- Supporting all activities believed to be beneficial to the area and opposing those which might be detrimental; and

- Promoting programs of a civic, social, and cultural nature which are designed to increase the functional and aesthetic values of the community.
