Steve Earle - Plus Special Guest Allison Moorer

Legendary music renegade STEVE EARLE is touring in support of Washington Square Serenade, a musical love letter to his adopted Big Apple/NYC home.  In February, the CD won a Grammy for Best Contemporary/Folk album.

Earle was also nominated earlier this year for ‘Artist of the Year’ by the Americana Music Association.  The winner will be announced September 18 at Nashville’s prestigious Ryman Auditiorium.

He’s been hailed as ‘America’s Greatest Songwriter’ by The Independent (UK).  According to Esquire Magazine, “At 52, Steve Earle is threatening to become more important than ever.”  His latest disc was even ranked #1 for 2007 by none other than author Stephen King – in his Entertainment Weekly year-end roundup.
