Professional Ballet Company Launches Season With Dracula

The Roxey Ballet will launch its Fall performance Season with eight performances of Bram Stoker’s DRACULA.

In addition, the Roxey will host a brown bag lunch event at the Studio on Tuesday, October 15. The brown bag event, a classical lunchtime diversion, will provide an opportunity for the public to watch the dancers rehearse for DRACULA. See website for details.
The Holiday Classic Nutcracker
The Season will then continue with five classic performances of The Nutcracker, featuring the professional company dancers and children and adults from the community, dancing the roles of party goers.

In addition, the Roxey will host community Nutcracker events as follows:
Tutus and Tiaras, Nutcracker - 10AM – 11:30 PM - Canal Studios, Lambertville
Brown Bag, Nutcracker - 12PM – 1:30 PM,Canal Studios, Lambertville
The Tutus and Tiaras Event is a morning of music and dance specifically designed to introduce young children to ballet through storytelling.
Tickets to the Community’s Only Professional Company recently praised by the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation.
The Roxey performs all around the county and locally at school assemblies. Schools are encouraged to call the Roxey for more information.

Program officer for the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation, Wendy Liscow, very recently said that Mark Roxey’s enthusiasm for tackling great dramatic works makes him a choreographer to watch. She added that he is highly admired for his inclusive approach to dance making and dedication to the dancer’s well-being and artistic growth.
