Montclair Community Band

The Montclair Community Band was formed in 1981 to provide an opportunity for amateur musicians to rehearse and perform challenging band music. Membership in the Band is open to any adult who plays a band instrument and to accomplished high school musicians.There is no audition, and newcomers are always welcome.

The Community Band performs four indoor concerts each year, including the popular Children's Concert. They also perform three outdoor summer concerts in the Montclair High School Amphitheater. All Community Band concerts are free of charge and no tickets are ever needed. The programs are geared for the whole family ... from Disney hits to "Big Band" favorites, with plenty of marches and light classics filling out each program.

The Montclair Community Band is sponsored by the Montclair Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs.
