Of that, 28537 (5.3%) are in nursery or preschool; 27729 (5.2%) are in kindergarten, while 211899 (39.7%) are in Elementary school (meaning, grades 1-8). 119112 (22.3%) are slogging through High School, while 146725 (27.5%) are in college or graduate school.

The total percentage of those folks with a high school graduate degree (or higher) is 28.3% (350856); 14.3% (177875) percent hold a Bachelor's degree or higher. It breaks down as follows:

Among the population 25 years or older (1240342), 102144 (8.2%) have less than a 9th grade education, while 125385 (10.1%) made it anywhere from 9th to 12th grade, but received no diploma.
