The trails were intended for foot traffic. But whoever was in charge of making the trails must not know anything about how to properly make a hiking trail. For one the grade is very steep in places, even though there was plenty of room to make switchbacks. Erosion control is only an after thought and even then barely attempted. But for all the lame work that Bataan memorial parks grounds keepers did (with a good amount of beer in there truck as they drug a section of railroad track behind them) I have to say they made great downhill trails!

I planted several hundred more apricot and peach seeds this past year. No way of telling how many will come up and survive the first year.
