Located two and a half miles off Hwy 550 behind the old Blanco Trading Post, this mission was established in 1947 as an outreach to the Navajo People in and around Otis Community. A hospital was established early on but closed after the IHS opened the one at Dził Ná Oodiłii. There was also a boarding school but that has been replaced by Nizhóní Christian Academy which uses the Accelerated Christian Education curriculum. The mission provides public water for those in the community who do not have running water; public showers; public laundry; a tire changing station and other services when available. It is also the home of The Overcomers Program, a drug & alcohol rehab program directed primarily but not exclusively toward Navajo men who have succumbed to the ravages of addiction. The mission also has a craft shop featuring Navajo weavings, pottery and jewelry from local artisans.
