The Zucchini Brothers To Perform Their Holiday Show At The Egg

The Zucchini Brothers will perform their Holiday Show at The Egg  as part of the Family Wonders series.

The Zucchini Brothers, Jack (guitar), Steve (keyboards) and Sam (drums) - perform their original holiday songs and favorites from their popular recordings for children.

Based in Saratoga Springs, New York, The Zucchini Brothers are well-renowned for their concerts in schools, theaters, and festivals across the country. Over the course of their career, The Zucchini Brothers have garnered so much support and success that they are often referred to as “the Beatles of kids music.” The trio blends a myriad of musical genres and styles to produce a performance that both adults and children rejoice in. The Zucchini Brothers have successfully bridged the musical gap between children and adults, and their music appeals to all age groups.

The Zucchini Brothers make numerous television appearances each year, and their albums are played on radio stations worldwide. Along with their television and concert performances, The Zucchini Brothers also play at a number of school assemblies and classroom workshops. The trio has written music to coincide with the elementary school curriculum and have also tailored classroom programs for specific themes that schools are focusing on. The classroom workshops encourage creativity and cooperation by having students work together to create a musical composition by brainstorming ideas, writing lyrics, and composing a melody.

In addition to their already busy schedule, The Zucchini Brothers also have a highly successful radio program. Their radio show entitled, The Zucchini Brothers, Live! At the Clubhouse, is internationally syndicated each week. Made especially for kids and families, but enjoyable for everyone, the thirty minute program is modeled on old-time radio before there was television. The educational show includes facts about science and nature, jokes, anecdotes, daily chores, and of course music.

Winners of the NAPPA Gold Award and the Parents' Choice Gold Award, the Zucchini Brothers have received critical acclaim for their albums In Your Garden, Live! At The Clubhouse, Safe & Sound, and their collection of Music Videos.

In 2002, The Zucchini Brothers were commissioned to compose new music for the holidays to be performed at The Egg. The concert was so popular, The Zucchini Brothers Holiday show has become an annual event and the new songs were recorded for the CD “A Zucchini Holiday,” released in 2004.
