This year the Bronx commemorates the centennial of the Grand Concourse, the visionary thoroughfare designed by Louis Risse, inspired by the Champs Élysées in Paris and conceived as a means of connecting residents of Manhattan to the green parks of the North Bronx. To mark the occasion, the Bronx Museum of the Arts examines the past, present, and future of the Grand Concourse with Intersections, a year-long, three-part centennial celebration.

When: March 5 - July 20, 2009

Museum Hours: Monday to Wednesday - Closed
Thursday to Sunday - 11:00am - 6:00pm
Friday - 11:00am - 8:00pm

Admission: $5 Adults
$3 Students and Seniors, Free on Fridays *
Free for Members and Children

*(For individuals only.Does not apply to groups).
Children must be under 12 and be accompanied by an adult.
