Columbia County Bounty is proud to announce the second annual “Taste of Columbia County Bounty,” taking place on Monday, August 3, 2009 from 5 to 9 pm at the Columbia County Fairgrounds in Chatham, NY. This delightful event brings together the finest farmers, producers, chefs and processors from Columbia County and the Hudson Valley for a summer’s evening of great food featuring the finest local products. 2009 Menu!

• Local beer and wine
The goodness of the County – and the Hudson Valley – are all around us, but it is only at the Taste of event that you can find so many of the riches transformed into so many incredible dishes. There will be over 25 local restaurants and over 30 local farms participating. Locally made beer and wine will be on hand. So come and taste the best of the County!
Hudson area kids are even getting into the act - using solar ovens to bake apricot solar energy bars. (Read the CCScoop story).
The Taste of Columbia County Bounty dinner is a fundraiser for Columbia County Bounty, an organization whose mission is to promote and support networking connections between local agricultural producers and culinary businesses. Bounty aims to educate the community about the preservation of our local farms through the purchase and use of local and regional sustainable foods and products not only from Columbia County, but the entire Hudson Valley.

Tickets are $50 for Columbia County Bounty adult members. Tickets for adults who are not members are $75. Tickets for children 7-12 are $25. Children under 7 are $10. TIckets will be available at the door with cash or credit card. Bounty membership of $25 will be required.
