Goal is to cultivate and nurture a love and knowledge of the performing arts at both the pre-professional and recreational levels. We believe that all students should have the opportunity to learn proper technique whether or not they choose to pursue dance as a profession.

Programs are designed to provide students with a solid foundation of technique in preparation for possible professional careers in a nurturing and affirming atmosphere. For those who do not wish to pursue dance as a career, Hudson River Performing Arts Center utilizes the performing arts as a vehicle to increase self-esteem, creativity, fitness, mental and physical health, and coordination.

Classes emphasize development of correct technique, coordination, poise, movement vocabulary, and physical and mental discipline. The student's personal achievement level is our primary focus. The training and care that our students receive within the center will provide them with confidence and communication skills that will be invaluable throughout their lives.
