Queens Jazz Orchestra Inaugural Concert

Flushing Town Hall launches the 17-pieces Queens Jazz Orchestra (QJO) lead by Jimmy Heath. Jeb Patton, piano; Michael Mossman, trumpet; Tony Purrone, guitar; Antonio Hart, sax, and guest artists join Heath to perform music of the Corona Kings: Louis Armstrong, Dizzy Gillespie, Cannonball Adderly, Clark Terry, and Jimmy Heath. The Orchestra will perform a new Heath commission.
