Chivalry, honor, and brotherhood reign supreme, while also serving the grand romance that binds this fable’s heart. The last lines of the title song — “Don’t let it be forgot, that once there was a spot, for one brief, shining moment that was known as Camelot” — were a favorite of President Kennedy and became synonymous with those thousand days when people the world over basked in his message of hope. We revive the musical, Mr. Obama the optimism.
