About

The Ithaca Lions Club was founded in 1951 as part of Lions Club International and has been a leader in community and international service. The Ithaca Lions Club has provided service to children and adults with eye exams, eye glasses, TTYs, and guide dogs. We also help children with speech, hearing and language impairments.

In the comming year, the Ithaca Lions Club will support Ithaca youth through the Lions International Peace Poster Contest, Lions Camp Badger, and preschool viosion screenings. Lions-Quest is a school program for K-12 students teaching self esteem, conflict resolution and self reliance.  The Ithaca Lions also provide a college scholarship to an IHS student each year.

Each year we provide eye galsses and exams for those in need, we helped count votes on election night for over 50 years, man a kettle during The Salvation Army Annual Kettle Drive, provide work crews and scholarships for the Empire State Special Needs Experience at Lions Camp Badger in Spencer and many other projects.
